Good Course

Very good lecture for beginner:easy to understand. Also good assignment: force you to use what you learned in the course. The discussion forum is helpful when you meet difficulties in assignments and quiz.

A great crash course in some of the basics of machine learning on Python. Although not explicitly covered, the assignments helped me gain an understanding on the Jupyter framework & pandas. The final assignment was definitely a cherry on top that let me gain a very vivid insight into the field.

This course gave me some tools to use in real life. It's pretty abridged in time because they are trying to cover a very big topic in only 4 weeks. It won't give you a comprehensive set of knowleadges, but a good basis to proceed by yourself. Also some basic knowledges are reqired in computational mathematics, statistics and programming for applying this course. I highly recommend this course as a first step into machine learning.

If I could I would give this course 3.5 stars. Most of the coverage of the concepts in this course were pretty light and there were several issues with the autograder being difficult that made this course a lot less enjoyable than it could have been.

The last homework is great and interesting.

this is an interesting machine learning course can quickly understand the basic idea of machine learning and know how to build different models in python and select models based on different standards it is a very good course to start with machine learning and can arouse the interests of learning more in this emerging field

It is a very practical course if you have learned the Andrew Ng's Machine Learning course. It is much much more practical and I have gained a lot from it. I really wish I could learn it soon. Thanks very much.
