Good course, but the other courses in this Specialization are better. Also, the 3 stars come also from the Assignments where there are big problems with the autograder; it takes a lot of time to search through the discussion forums and it's frustrating.
Curso corto pero completo para aplicar mineria de texto. Videos, cuestionarios y asignaciones utiles e interesantes.
Very theoretical, with good slides but missing good Jupyter notebooks that facilitate the "hand-on" experience. Thus, it's up to the students to find out their own way to solve the assignment. Courses 1, 2, 3 of the Applied Data Science with Python Specialization are much, much better than what is offered in Course 4.
There are too many issues with the assignments / the autograder in this course. Also, I haven't enjoyed the presentation of the content as much as in the other courses of this specialization.
Videos are great, but assignments are stupid. Evaluation (grading) didn't work properly, and pedagogically, assignments do not evaluate topics related to the videos. Worst, mentors refuse to admit that there is a huge problem in their evaluation system. It's a pity, since the videos are nice.
The lectures are OK, but the assignments have very bad instructions and many bugs. Expect to spend 5% of the time learning and 95% trying to figure out what the autograder expects as an output. Overall there are much more efficient ways to learn. I can't recommend this course.
so many bugs in the homework. Autograder is terrible. Spent more time debugging homework than actually learning.
I faced difficulty to complete 4th week Assignment-04. There should be lab-worked in week-4. It will help to complete the assignment with proper understanding. Apart from that course is fine
Do yourself a favor and do the NLP specialization from deeplearning.ai. This course (and specialization in general) is outdated. Assignments are poorly organized and the poor moderators can only warn you about assignments as they're unable to change anything. After taking Dr. Chuck's & Dr. Resnick I was seriously dishes out some cash on the online Master's they're offering. Glad I didn't...
Really interesting as a foundational course. Always love the sense of achievement after excelling the assignments.
