I have just started Week 1 course and it seems so painful that I wouldn't continue with this course. Unfortunately, I hadn't started the course earlier so the Return window has closed. I would not recommend this course as it isn't worth the cost.
Issues that need fixing -
1. Please don't use a live background behind the instructor, every movement in the background is distracting
2. The audio and code scripts don't align in most cases, which is difficult to follow, please correct. It is easier to just view the code example in the Notebook
3. It would be great to actually be prompted Right/Wrong on the interactive questions. It just displays the answer and then a solution
4. Instructor spends too much time talking some times where we need to watch him and there is no other content being presented, which seems very awkward. I would prefer to see actual code with a voice over in the background or atleast keep the instructor camera sessions to a minimum
5. The session could be driven more from Jupyter notebooks, but the video skips back to the Instructor's face so quickly that it doesn't give me time to look at what is being done in the code

Very interesting and hands-on course. Especially with the assignments not being timed and instead being allowed to google, but the assignments still being appropriately hard. The assignments promote problem-solving on the fly and finding the help you need on stackoverflow, google, etc.
It is a great course.
Awesome course for starting the journey with Data Science. It covers Regex, Numpy and Pandas in great detail.
Weekly assignments are so good that you dont even need extra practice as part of learning. These assignments will make sure you are well acquainted with frequently used things in Data cleaning /manipulation. Must do course for every person who wants to start the journey with Data Science. This course was suggested by my friend, who did this and other 4 courses as part of Applied Data Science course and was able to switch from being Mechanical Engineer to a Data Scientist.
Lo MEJOR
wow
Excellent course, even if you have taken other Python courses or if you use Python regularly. This course provided a good introduction to many ways you will use Python in real-world applications. The assignments were challenging enough and some required research on your own, which is exactly what you do with real problems.
Too difficult
awesome
Assignments are way too difficult compared to what is being taught in the course lectures. I would have gotten more value had I taught myself the course material. The phraseology used during the lectures is almost designed to confuse you. You do not get any feedback from the assignments and when I got stuck, I posted on the Discussion forums. No helpful feedback came from that.
I wanted to learn Introduction to Data Science in Python while I worked full time. I spent hours and sometimes even days on an assignment because they want very specific answers and the prompts are too vague.
I do not recommend this course, you're better off teaching yourself. I will not be taking the other courses in this specialization.
