The videos are ok. The assignments are extremelly centered in data cleansing. The debate in forums is very helpful, and the course staff answers regularly.
Aprendí mucho, muy buenas las tareas! Gracias!
Its a challenging course that requires that you have already Python knowledge, but the experience is worth it and it feels like you-re professionally growing !
The assignment were too good as it would test your knowledge and make to think on how to clean the data sets do manipulation and run descriptive statistics on them.
If you go into the lab and play with different parameters of the functions you'll get a hold of what they do. Just watching the videos is not gonna help you learn. I think people give this course a bad name because they didn't really spend the time to actually play with the functions themselves. The assignments are challenging but the materials are all covered in the lectures. I don't understand why people say the assignments require more than he teaches. Sure they are tough and yes I did consult my notes and stackoverflow. Overall great learning materials.
good
Assignments are too difficult, cause if you don't use some special functions like extract(),you will have to stack lots of iterations···but some skills and functions used in assignments are not mentioned in the lecture.
This course helps me to understand deeper pandas and numpy. Earlier I haven't done so many exercises by Pandas. Now I can prepare data for further manipulation.
Very structured lectures and examples based on real-world problems.
Thanks, University of Michigan and Coursera for providing this course.
