Excellent Course

Good course that gives basic knowledge of python programming that Data Scientists required

This is a very good course for beginners who has no background of Data Science. I completed it one and a half years ago. Now i am revising it again and i find it even more interesting.

Lectures are not that good, and most of the assignments require the student to spend countless hours on forums. Overall a very inefficient way of learning. If you value your time, try another course.

Excellent! Challenging!

It's a great course. I took it to refresh my Python skills after a two years' pause, when I needed only SQL. During this course I was glad not only to write code efficiently for realistic tasks, but to get a good overview of the Data Science field, its tasks, theory, approaches. My knowledge is more systematic now, and I feel more aware of options. The course proved to be very useful, pleasant (to listen to and to follow in Jupiter notebooks - great help, too!). Great tasks. I couldn't complete some of them until I really got some subtleties about the data structures and library functions.

I'd say it is a very robust course for pandas intro, particularly the coding assignments are excellent! I consider this my stepping stone to becoming a competitive data scientist. Michigan's courses are always of high-quality.
