I would suggest encouraging students to work on CS-code. I have been offered an apprentice and everyone I have gone to for help has worked on CScode.
It good for the basics, but I felt that there were too many repetitions, some of them a bit unnecessary. In the other hand, there are topics in HTML that wasn't cover - like forms, inputs, buttons.
