Great for absolute beginners, everything is explained from basic and nothing is assumed that student will know anything about programming language.

Some things I had to go outside of the course to learn in order to complete the graded assignments. Maybe it would have been different if I had purchased the book. Overall, professor is engaging and obviously passionate about teaching, however, the scribbling all over the slides has a net effect of causing confusion.
