this course is for the person who wants to be a programmer and have to start from scratch.
it'a a great course! i've learn a lot!
More variety of programming could have been added, otherwise, the explanations were really good!!
The videos are very helpful for beginners. All the examples given and the diagrammatic representations of the execution of the code are so apt for anyone to understand what the logic is.
I think its a very good introductory course for someone that's never done anything related to computers in general and want to learn and master a new skill for the future. Python is one of the most famous programming languages and the wide range of things you can do with it are almost unmeasurable. Taking this course made me increase my self confidence that i can at some point take another path with my professional life. The only reason i would give 5 star to the course if because its divided in 5 different courses. The in the 2nd as far as i can see there are some chapter repeated, like "how to install python" that is completely unnecessary and such a waste of time for students. Also it would be great if students could choose since the very beginning if they want to take the whole extensive course and focus in learning the fastest and deepest the possible if it really caught you than going thru each of them stopping your learning process. Apart from this small details i couldnt recommend it more.
Excellent course for beginners
Very explanatory and rich in resources
This course is best for beginners.
Lecturing is too good. I am a good fan of professor..
Learning the basics of programming computers using Python has been fun in the past few weeks. Though I wasn't completely new to Python and programming as such, it was an exciting experience being though the nitty-gritty details that make the knowledge stronger. Charles Russell Severance (Ph.D.) of the prestigious University of Michigan made brought it down as low as it could get in order to build a firm foundation in programming. I will recommend this course to anyone who needs to dive into programming and contemplating where to start from. The course has no pre-requisites and avoids all but the simplest mathematics. Anyone with moderate computer experience should be able to master the materials in this course.
