It is such an amazing experience! Even though I am from life science back ground, I am now able to write programmes in python without any syntax errors. This course is very helpful and easy for begginers.

There were some great things about the course--the online book, the interesting and engaging lectures. But what was enormously frustrating is the last exercise. It didn't take me 1 hour, as suggested, instead took me 2 weeks. The TA/mentors were helpful about giving hints and answering questions promptly, but the hints were often vague at best , very opaque for someone without a programming background. They might refer you to a particular video or part of the chapter, but explain you can't do it the way it was done in the exercise. Hmm. Glad I did this course, but wish Dr. Chuck was available for actual office hours, or that there was a possibility for talking to someone.

An easy start with Python. Recommended for beginners.

This course was very clear and easy to follow. The teacher's humor and enthusiasm made taking this course an incredibly enjoyable experience. Coming from no previous programming experience, I believe this course helped me gain a very clear understanding of the basics of python.
