very good for brain damage

Great starting course in Python for anyone interested in programming. Very engaging and informative.

This is a great class for absolute beginners but if you come from C or a similar language, this is quite challenging. Also there are some typos in the exercises, so you have to pay attention to what is "probably asked" if it doesn't seem to make sense... I found the writing style of the tasks a bit too sloppy because I am used to straight-forward mathematical or physical programming tasks and not so much "Well, this is fun, let's see what do do with it!" statements. But that is a matter of personal taste, I guess. Anyway, I can recommend this class to anyone interested in learning Python without scientific background. I do recommend an attitude of "interest in logic" though ;-)
