Provided you go in with the right expectations, this is a very good course. If you are an experienced programmer in any other language, you need to remain attentive to the Python key constructs, but otherwise can continually jump a bit (but not too far) ahead at times. I competed the course in a bit over 3 hours including the assignments and tests, scoring 100% overall. I am fairly experienced, but not a professional programmer. If you are a beginner, the pace, even for you is likely to be very slow for the first 3 "weeks". It gets steeper toward the end, and I would recommend looking at some of the things that get little/no mention during the lectures but are used (but just to understand what they are, e.g. Lists). Chuck's style is informal, which is fine because it's not supposed to be a 'formal dining' experience, and I think he keeps even bland material relatively engaging, though be prepared to skip through occasionally as some points are very laboured - that's not really a criticism, it just is because he is trying to serve many audiences and one course cannot do that 100% of the time. That said, Chuck does a darn good job ... and better than most (noting I have done a third of a very long Python course on Udemy and it is okay, but the lecturer there clearly jumps around a lot and makes coding mistakes, etc., which you rarely see in Chuck's materials, at least so far. I would recommend this course, yes, though it's not quite 5 stars to me.

Dr. Chuck is a great instructor, I am looking forward to enroll on the rest of the courses of the especialization.

As it say on the title, this course really teach you from bottom, from zero knowledge,and that was fun

I loved the course. As far as the basics and the depth are concerned. For an introductory course, it's excellent.

Truly a python course for everybody I must say that even a guy without a CS background can take this course and get started with python. The lectures are very beginners friendly and made for you to get started with python in just a 2 or 3 weeks
