While I have a background in com sci, this was in my opinion a great overview of the basics of python and how to approach writing software to accomplish a simple but possibly repetitive task.

Before this course python was just another language I did not know. Now I know the very basis concepts and how to use them. I can right simple code and run it . The best thing is you do not need to be a math wiz or a computer nerd to get this course. I did watch most videos more then once as I am a slow learning but in less then a month finished with flying colors and can't wait to start the next course. If you know python or the basics of python this is not the course of you.

Excellent course for beginners. Not for experienced people

Very decent entry course into programming. It goes through the most used lines of codes in Python and I liked that each week had some exercises that bundled that week's material. I executed all the code that I observed during the lectures to develop some more muscle memory!

My major is Journalism and I want to transfer my major when I further my education, Python is useful in Data analysis but I am a beginner in programming, this course help me a lot, I think I will complete the specialization course. Thank you Dr.Chunk!
