Excellent Course by Dr Chuck and Coursera. A lot of knowledge and information (SQL+Python) packed in a single course. Lays a solid foundation for further course in Data Analysis.
This course was excellent! Dr. Chuck is a really good teacher. Ill start the next course today!
Howdy all. I'm not engineer, not programmer. I'm a beginner of programming, so i have small experience of passing courses. But i think, this course needs more assignments in programming to consolidate every theory in our minds, assignments with different levels of difficulty, including assignments with less amount of prompts. But i think course is useful, don't miss it. P.S. maybe for some beginners this course very hard, but i think that it isn't easy mostly for many people, when you learning something new in your life. Learning how to find needed information in internet is great useful experience too ;)
It teaches about the basic concepts of databases and how to use them (sqlite3) with python. Considering that databases are used in almost every application, the course needed to provide more details.
the database is very useful and easy to understand. best teaching ever
I really like this course. Professor is great, syllabus is great, content is great. I enjoyed very uch
Maybe the best course in the specialization, it also a quit reasonable intro to SQL and Sqlite database. It treated what was possibly the most complex subject in this specialization with a lot of care, neither simplifying too much nor making SQL and RDBMS concepts too difficult to understand for novices. I have been saying this repetitively, but with this particular course, it is worth repeating even more: more exercises, maybe some thing like https://codingbat.com/python would be very useful. So would more quizzes.
excelente curso!
Great course. The specific instructor is amazing! Thanks !
Although I do not want to write a negativ comment, I have no other choice than saying that this course was almost useless to me and that I wouldn't have understood anything if I hadn't had the basics of SQL in university. The SQL language isn't explained at all, only some full commands which we are supposed to copy and paste into our program. If one wants to explain SQL one should start with the basics of the language from the very beginning and talk about each single command / word of the SQL language and how it is build. Learning or copying and pasting full commands will definitely not help. In addition, I expected to learn some basics of data visualization with certain libraries but in the end it was (as always) nothing more than copy this prepared program and just change a few little easy things so that it works. The only good thing about this course was that sometimes Dr. Chuck broached certain topics which were quite interesting to hear about which made me notice that I have to learn more about these topics more (obviously somewhere else).
