One of the best MOOCs I attended. A must for any foreigner who wants to know more about the American business.
good content, but the teaching resource such as slides can be improved, showing the right slide at the right moment
This course is a well-organized, engaging education in the interrelationship of strategy, law and ethics. It goes beyond the obvious need to examine these aspects of decision-making using actual cases to demonstrate common pitfalls when the three aspects aren't all considered, as well as the advantages of linking the three pillars when making decisions in business as well as in personal life. The course equips students with tools that provide a definite advantage in making successful decisions. I highly recommend this course not only because it's informative and educational, but also because of the energetic, interesting way in which the material is presented. If it was a book, it would be a page-turner!
I personally found the course more tilted towards business law and very less content on strategy. Overall it is a good course for participants interested in legal aspects of business. This needs to be clearly communicated to participants prior to joining the course.
Very brief explanation about how to create strategy by utilizing the existing government regulation and following the ethics. Furthermore, the professor's reading resources is beneficial for us.
The course is very detailed on how to create value and manage risk with The Three Pillar Model. The Professor is well grounded in the field. Great course! Great Professor!
The topic of the course is good, while I think there are a lot of repetition in messages in the video, for example, the course structure and many analogy with previous course the professor did before, as well some unnecessary videos, like videos about the university and the state the university hosted.
Also, the inline feedbacks and questions inside videos are not aligned with the time. Also, I think most of them did not have area to put the feedback.
I go through first week structure as well, the quiz was on the top before the videos and reading necessary to watch and read before going to the quiz.
I hope this review helps
